Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist – West Byfleet, FWC – Physiology – Permanent – Full Time – Starting Salary £24,000 – 40 hours per week

Main duties of the job

As an Academy Physiologist, you will:

  • Join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Complete our in‑house three‑week training course.
  • Help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic, comprehensive health service.
  • Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals.
  • Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Be passionate and caring in the service you provide, putting the client’s needs first.
  • Complete our award‑winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months in the role.

Job responsibilities

As an Academy Physiologist you’ll bring a minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent, with knowledge of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition, and the ability to apply this in practice. While you will have a base location, all Academy Physiology roles are mobile and you will be required to travel within the region of your base site.
