Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist – West Byfleet FWC | Physiology | Permanent | Full

Starting Salary £24,000 | 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete our in‑house, three‑week training course.
• Help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic, comprehensive health service.
• Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals.
• Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery.
• Be passionate and caring, putting client’s needs first.
• Complete our award‑winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months in the role.

Job Overview

As an Academy Physiologist, you will be part of an entry role in our Physiology department, transforming healthcare in the UK by bringing together assessment, treatment and prevention services to provide integrated care. You will be mobile and required to travel within the region of your base site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent.
• Studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition.
• Ability to apply this knowledge in practice.

Experience

• Mobility: ability to travel within the region of your base site.

Training & Onboarding

All new Academy Physiologists will attend a training camp scheduled for January 2026.
