Overview

An opportunity has arisen to join our busy Finance Team as an Academy Finance Assistant to assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the Academy’s financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Academy’s financial system operations. They will also assist with day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience within a commercial or public sector financial environment is required. A relevant financial professional qualification is desirable but not essential.

Other Skills

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a “can do” attitude are prerequisites. Office administration experience and ICT skills (Excel and Word) are essential.

Working Hours and Availability

27.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus 5 days). Start date is as early as possible after appointment.
