Job description

Job title: Academic Registrar

Salary: £56,625-£65,336 per annum

Department: Academic Office

Closing date and time: 21/01/2026 12:00 pm

The Academic Registrar will work directly with the Academic Director, and is the most senior role in the Academic Office under the Director. A fundamental function of this role is to act as a credible and accomplished Deputy to the Academic Director in all aspects of the Academic Office. They will have a team of four to assist them in conducting their responsibilities.

Specifically, the Registrar will have responsibility for:

  • Early-Career Researchers, including postgraduates (supported by a Graduate Administrator): academic administration for on-course postgraduate students, and will be key in developing the postdoctoral and postgraduate experience in this key area within College;
  • Admissions (supported by an Admissions Officer and Access Officer): managing the admissions process for undergraduates and taking a part in the admissions process for postgraduates;
  • Student disability and finances (supported by a Student Support Officer): will act as the College’s Disability Lead, overseeing the provision of support for students with disabilities and individual requirements;

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion considerations for students: taking an active role in the College EDI Committee and advising on issues relating to student provision.
