Academic Improvement Mentor for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths – Sessional (Part time – Fixed until June 2026)

This entry-level opportunity is perfectly suited to candidates looking to build on recently completed qualifications such as A Levels, BTECs, or equivalent. We are particularly keen to hear from recent sixth form or college leavers who are ready to take the next step in their personal and professional development.

If you are friendly, motivated, and keen to share your knowledge and skills, we would love to welcome you to our team as an Academic Improvement Mentor, supporting students as they overcome challenges in their learning journey.

You don’t need years of experience—just enthusiasm, good communication skills, and a willingness to support others.

Conditions

GRADE OF POST: National Minimum/Living Wage

Aged 18 to 20: £10.00 per hour

Aged 21+: £12.21 per hour

Hours

HOURS OF WORK: Hours will be worked as and when required by agreement, between 08:30am and 5:00pm for up to 15 hours per week, term time, with the possibility of additional weeks during the remainder of term time and potentially during college holidays.
