Job Title: Academic Department Administrator

Location: Broxbourne Campus, Broxbourne, HRT EN10 6AE

Salary: £19,796 – £20,924 per annum (based on FTE £24,745 – £26,155) depending on experience and qualifications

Hours: 28.8 hours per week

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per annum plus bank and public holidays pro rata.

Closing Date: 10 December 2025 (midday)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised Administrator with a proactive and flexible approach, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work professionally and discreetly with learners, colleagues, and members of the public. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, is essential.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will have proven experience that allows them to work with minimal supervision and effectively solve a variety of problems. You must be able to organise your workload efficiently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience
