We are seeking an experienced Academic and Quality Principal Lecturer to lead our team and oversee the foundation degree to pre-masters pathways. This role involves line managing 7-8 staff members and requires a strong leader with a proven academic background and management experience in higher education.

Day-to-day of the role

• Lead and manage a team of 7-8 academic staff members.
• Oversee the development and implementation of foundation degree to pre-masters pathways.
• Ensure the quality and academic standards of the programmes are maintained and enhanced.
• Collaborate with other department heads and faculty members to align educational strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching within the pathways.
• Provide mentorship and support to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Work Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must possess a PhD in a business-related field.
• Must have publications in 3* journals or above.
• Demonstrable experience in academic management roles, such as module leader or department head.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
