Job summary

A leading HVAC services provider is seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning & HVAC Service Engineer to perform maintenance on various client sites in the Midlands. The ideal candidate will have F-Gas certification and experience with commercial HVAC systems. Responsibilities include planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to ensure high workmanship standards and compliance. This position requires adherence to all health and safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Current F-Gas certification required.
  • Experience in commercial HVAC installations essential.
  • Understanding of M&E systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Service and maintain commercial refrigeration installations.
  • Diagnose faults and ensure systems operate correctly.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning & HVAC Service Engineer to join our expanding team.

This is a mobile position covering multiple client sites across the Midlands, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial HVAC systems.

You’ll play a key role in servicing long‑standing and new client contracts, ensuring high standards of workmanship, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

The Role

As the AC and HVAC Survive Engineer, you’ll:

  • Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance across the Midlands.
  • Service and maintain commercial F‑Gas and HVAC installations, including split and VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, and general ventilation systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure correct system operation.
  • Complete compliance and statutory reports in line with F‑Gas regulations and best practices.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and company policies.
  • Support the out‑of‑hours on‑call rota as required.
Qualifications

To be successful in the role of the AC & HVAC engineer, you’ll bring:

  • Current F‑Gas refrigerant handling certification.
  • Formal C&G/NVQ in AC/refrigeration systems desired.
  • Formal electrical qualifications would be advantageous.To be conversant with all aspects of M&E systems.
