Job summary

Keoghs Scotland is seeking a 3-5 PQE solicitor to join our abuse team in Glasgow. You will handle a varied caseload of pre-litigated and litigated abuse cases for insurer and uninsured clients. It is preferable to have Sheriff court appearance experience and to act as instructing agent in the Court of Session.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of litigation experience.
• Experience appearing in the Sheriff court preferable.
• Experience in sensitive and complex claims preferable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Forensic review and analysis of documents.
• Analyse liability and quantum and causation.
• Drafting advice and court documents.
• Client liaison and site visits; manage witness statements.
• Support partners and team with litigation strategy and directions.
• Assist with business development: articles, blogs, e-shots, presentations.
