Job summary

Dunbia Jaspers at the South Petherwin site is hiring for a full-time role in our lamb abattoir. Training will be provided, so no previous experience is required. All PPE is supplied at no extra cost.

This position is based on Mondays to Fridays, starting at 7am, with a pay range of £12.71-£12.95 per hour. Join a well-established food production company and be part of a team that values safety, reliability and teamwork.

Job description

This is a great opportunity to join our team at Dunbia Jaspers at our South Petherwin site, working for an established company within food production in our busy lamb Abattoir. Training will be provided so you do not need any previous experience.

All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you.

This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday starting at 7am with a pay range of £12.71-£12.95 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform various roles around the lamb Abattoir.
• Follow and be aware of the departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain the fast-paced environment in line with production needs
• Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets.
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.

Please note: this role is based at our Dunbia Jaspers site, which is situated in a rural part of Launceston with limited public transport links available. The opportunity for lift sharing from Launceston can be discussed at interview.
