Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd in the South West is seeking an experienced AAT Assessor to guide learners toward their qualifications. You will manage a caseload, carry out assessments, provide constructive feedback and track progress to ensure timely completion.

You will work with awarding-body requirements to deliver fair, consistent assessments, maintain accurate records and support learners throughout their studies.

Qualifications

• A relevant accounting or finance qualification, such as AAT.
• Occupational experience within accountancy or finance.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessing learners' work against AAT qualification standards.
• Providing timely, constructive feedback to support learner progress.
• Planning and conducting assessments in line with awarding-body requirements.
• Managing a caseload of learners and monitoring their progress towards completion.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each learner.
• Supporting learners to stay motivated and engaged throughout their studies.
