Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced A330 MRTT Pilot Instructor to join our Brisbane-based training team. You will report to the KC30A Lead Instructor and deliver engaging mission briefs, debriefs, and hands-on simulator instruction to KC30A students in a state‑of‑the‑art training device.

You will collaborate with maintenance teams, help develop training materials, and support CAE staff with innovative training delivery. Relocation and visa support are provided.

Qualifications

• Ex-military pilot with instructor background.
• Experience delivering flight training and briefs.
• Ability to lead and coach student pilots.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mission briefs and debriefs to KC30A pilot students.
• Provide hands-on simulator instruction in a brand-new Flight Training Device.
• Collaborate with simulator maintenance to ensure peak performance of training equipment.
• Develop and continuously improve training materials and syllabus.
• Support CAE technical staff in training delivery innovations.

We’re searching for an experienced ex-military pilot Instructor to become an A330 MRTT (known as the KC-30A in Australia) Pilot Instructor at RAAF Base Amberley Brisbane, close to the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Your Mission:

• Report to the KC30A Lead Instructor in support of a program run by the Key Account Manager, supporting an advanced training program including Pilot Qualification courses, and currency and proficiency events

• Deliver engaging mission briefs and debriefs.

• Provide hands‑on simulator instruction to KC30A pilot students in a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art Flight Training Device

• Collaborate with simulator maintenance teams to keep training equipment at peak performance.

• Help develop and continuously improve training materials, ensuring our syllabus stays cutting‑edge.

• Support CAE technical staff in innovation critical thinking and evolution of training delivery.
