Job summary

42tutoring Limited is hiring an experienced A level Physics teacher in the United Kingdom. The deadline for applications is 16 September 2026. This role is paid as a part-time wage; it is not a zero-hours contract and you will be employed by 42tutoring Limited.

You will teach 22.2 hours per month (about 5 hours per week), with a mix of 1:1 and group tuition. Overtime is paid at £40 per hour, there is initial training and a 3-month probation, with potential extra work in holidays.

Job description

We are currently hiring an experienced A level Physics teacher. The deadline date for applications is 16th September 2026

We are not an agency - if you are successful you will become a 42tutoring Limited employee, paid a part-time wage. You will NOT be applying for a zero hours contract position, nor will you be self-employed.

The position pays£1000 per monthevery month (pro-rata equivalent full time salary £87,750p.a. or £45 per hour)

You will do 22.2 hours teaching each month (5 hours per week)some will be 1:1 and some will be group tuition.

There will be initial training (for delivering our unique exam techniques teaching) and a probationary period of 3 months. You may get the opportunity to earn extra in the holidays, delivering intensive daytime courses, if you express an interest. Thisovertime will be paid at £40 per hour.
