Job description

We’re seeking a dedicated A-Level Chemistry tutor to deliver in person tuition on a one to one basis to a learner in Bexley , between the hours of 09 : 00 - 12 : 00 . This rewarding assignment offers 7.5 hours per week with the potential to increase.

Although this position is for a particular assignment , there will be further tutoring opportunities available with Fleet Education Services across our expanding network of learners.

What You’ll Need to be a Tutor :
  • A completed Bachelorsdegree or Level 6 qualification.
  • Minimum of 6 months teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK with no restrictions on working hours .
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
Your key responsibilities as a Tutor will include :
  • Designing and delivering personalised lessons that engage, inspire, and help learners progress.
  • Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborating with parents, guardians, and schools to ensure learner academic success.
  • Maintaining accurate session records through our virtual learning platform.
  • Working directly with students in their own homes or schools – in-person tuition only.

Experience :

As a Tutor you will be working with children who present with :

  • Special Educational Needs (SEN), such as ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, or Dyspraxia.
  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Childhood trauma or complex learning requirements.
