Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a senior A&E nurse to join the Emergency Department in Guernsey in a split 50/50 role as Band 7 Team Leader and Safeguarding Lead. The ideal candidate will supervise a multi-graded nursing team and oversee safeguarding liaising with internal and external agencies.

The post offers a challenging environment in a small, busy ED delivering care to ~19,000 patients annually on the island.

Qualifications

• Nursing registration and current practice in emergency care.
• Experience leading a multi-grade nursing team.
• Knowledge of safeguarding processes and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a busy shift as Band 7 Team Leader.
• Supervise Band 6, Band 5 and Band 3 staff during shifts.

As Team Leader you will be one five Band 7 Team Leaders and manage the shift, supervising Band 6, Band 5 and Band 3 staff.
