Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a locum SPR in Accident and Emergency with UK-wide opportunities tailored to your availability. The role offers flexible long-term and short-term assignments across the UK, enabling you to choose shifts that fit your schedule and career goals.

You will assess and treat emergencies, support the clinical team, and work towards delivering high-quality care in busy departments. Start date is ASAP, with full rota provided and ongoing locum opportunities available.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• A current DBS check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process.
• UK Right to Work.
• Strong communication and teamworking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and treating patients in the emergency department
• Managing acute presentations and trauma cases
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting junior doctors and medical students
