Job summary

Astute People, via its Power Team, is recruiting a Project Engineer for a South Wales site on a 9-month contract. The role involves taking engineering deliverables from FEED and design through to construction and site implementation.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, support construction planning, monitor progress, and ensure contractual deliverables are met, with emphasis on electrical and/or mechanical engineering backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar engineering delivery role.
• Electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience taking projects through FEED and engineering design into construction.

Responsibilities

• Take engineering deliverables from FEED and design through to construction and site implementation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to align engineering activities and resolve technical issues.
• Support construction phase planning to ensure activities align with the programme.
• Monitor progress and ensure contractual obligations and project deliverables are met.
• Provide technical input across electrical and mechanical engineering activities.
• Review designs and documentation to support construction readiness.
• Coordinate with the wider project team to deliver safely, compliantly and efficiently.
