Job summary

Adult Social Care in Swansea is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a private client who has a passion for rugby and the Ospreys. You will drive to matches, accompany him to games and share a meal after. The role is 6 hours per week, mainly on Ospreys match days, with a rate of £13.13.

Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.

A little about myself:

I am a middle-aged man living in Swansea. I have a moderate learning disability. I often need prompting as my memory is not the same since I had a Stroke. My passion is Rugby. My favourite thing to do is to watch the Ospreys. I would like a PA to be able to take me to watch the Ospreys game. I would like my PA to drive me to the game and accompany me to watch the game and have a meal.

Driver required to take me out.

Concerning the position

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
