A local logistics company in Preston is seeking an experienced 7.5T driver for an ongoing position. The role includes performing deliveries, with training provided. Qualifications

• Comfortable doing 6-8 deliveries per day.

Responsibilities

• Perform deliveries using a 7.5T vehicle.
• Utilize a pod device for deliveries.
• Offload items from the back of the vehicle into customer premises.

Job description

Our Preston based client is looking for a 7.5T driver to work on an ongoing basis. This vacancy has arisen due to the site having an unmanned vehicle so this position may become permanent. You will be given a full weeks training in the role with one of the drivers, you will be using a pod device for delivery and also a tail lift. This role may require some offloading from the back of the vehicle into customer.

The suitable candidate must

• Have held a valid 7.5T licence for 6 months due to insurance restrictions
• Have a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• Be comfortable doing 6-8 deliveries per day
• An element of handball
