Job summary

A UK recruitment agency is seeking a 7.5 T driver for operations in Lambeth and surrounding areas. The role requires a minimum of six months of experience, a valid CPC, and a Digi Tacho card. Responsibilities include the safe transportation of food waste, compliance with road safety regulations, and effective communication with the depot. This position offers regular hours from Monday to Friday, starting at 6 or 7 am.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months' driving experience in 7.5 T vehicles.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Experience in waste management or similar roles is desirable.
• No more than 6 points on license due to insurance reasons.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport food waste safely and efficiently.
• Operate the vehicle in compliance with all road safety regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Assist with loading / unloading when required.
• Follow scheduled routes and complete assigned collections on time.
• Maintain good communication with the depot and team.
