Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver in Ferndown, Dorset. The role is full-time with Monday to Friday shifts, starting times around 9:00am, and ongoing temporary work with immediate starts. Pay starts at £16.05 per hour for the first 40 hours and rises to £23.43 per hour for overtime, with weekly pay.

Applicants must hold a UK 7.5T entitlement, Driver CPC, a tachographs card and a valid licence. The job involves loading/unloading, parcel deliveries, and compliance with road safety

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with 7.5T (C1) entitlement.
• Driver CPC qualification card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out parcel collections and deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading parcels at depot and customer locations.
• Using handheld electronic devices to update delivery and collection information.
• Completing all paperwork and delivery records accurately.
• Undertaking regular manual handling and heavy lifting as part of the role.
• Adhering to all road safety and transport regulations.
