Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join its daytime delivery operation in Yate. The role involves completing multidrop deliveries, loading and securing goods, and delivering a professional service at each stop while following planned routes and schedules.

You will need a valid entitlement to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle, be reliable and punctual, and capable of handling furniture. This temporary position offers daily shifts, Wednesday pay, and potential future local work with a

Qualifications

• Appropriate entitlement to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Experience in multidrop delivery driving.
• Comfortable completing more than 10 deliveries per shift.
• Good geographical knowledge and route planning ability.
• Reliable, punctual and organised.
• Physically capable of handling furniture and delivery items.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Complete multidrop deliveries, typically involving more than 10 drops.
• Load, secure and check goods before departure.
• Follow planned delivery routes and schedules.
• Deliver items carefully and courteously.
• Complete delivery paperwork and report any issues promptly.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and comply with road safety requirements.
• Work effectively with colleagues and customers.
