Job summary

Cotteswold Dairy in Hereford is seeking a skilled 7.5T Driver to join our busy depot. In this Category C1 role you will perform multi-drop deliveries of dairy products, ensuring freshness, accuracy and courteous service for rural and urban customers.

You will conduct daily vehicle checks, load and unload, and follow health, hygiene and safety procedures. The position includes night shifts and a 48-hour week, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Physically fit for manual handling and driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Category C1 vehicles and comply with tachograph rules.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries of dairy products and maintain stock rotation.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring safe handling.
• Follow health, food hygiene and security procedures at all times.

Cotteswold Dairy, one of the UK's leading independent family-owned dairies, is seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5T Driver to join our busy Hereford Depot. This is a Category C1 position, and applicants must have this on their licence.

The Role - 7.5T Multi Drop Driver

As a professional Driver, you will play a vital role in our distribution chain, delivering fresh dairy products to customers in both rural and urban settings. From the stunning South Wales hills to the bustling towns of Herefordshire, every route will bring a fresh perspective. Operating in a temperature-controlled, multi-drop delivery environment, you will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries, while representing the company in a professional and customer-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles (Category C1) in compliance with UK driving laws and tachograph regulations
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries of dairy products, ensuring stock rotation and product quality
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Load and unload products safely
• Follow health & safety, food hygiene, and security procedures at all times
