Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced 7.5T driver for ongoing work in Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area. This busy driving team offers full-time hours, immediate start dates, and a genuine path to a permanent contract.

You will deliver to schools, restaurants, and care homes, perform daily vehicle checks, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain excellent customer service on every route. Monday–Friday with some Saturdays; start times 05:00–06:00, usually finishing 14:00–15:00.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Valid CPC card.
• Previous 7.5T driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No DD, DR or TT conviction codes.

Responsibilities

• Timely Deliveries: Transport wholesale food products safely to key clients, including schools, restaurants, and care homes.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Complete daily pre-route safety and vehicle checks.
• Hands-on Support: Assist with the efficient loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Customer Excellence: Maintain a professional attitude and deliver top-tier customer service on every route.
