Job summary

The Best Connection Tamworth currently has a vacancy for a 7.5T Flatbed Driver (C1) with weekday shifts. You will deliver goods to customer locations, secure loads, and maintain vehicle safety and paperwork. Immediate start available and ongoing temporary assignment.

Salary is £14.00 per hour, with a 05:30 start, Monday to Friday pattern. This role offers regular weekday work with a well-established company and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months commercial C1 driving experience.
• Previous flatbed driving experience.
• Experience using ratchet straps to secure loads.
• Valid UK C1 Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5T flatbed to customer locations.
• Safely secure loads using ratchet straps.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Ensure compliance with Driver's Hours and road transport legislation.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
