JDP is recruiting a reliable 7.5T Driver for our Dorchester branch. You will join a friendly team delivering drainage products across multiple sites, with no weekends. Expect a stable, full-time role with early evenings and a focus on great customer service.

You'll perform vehicle checks, plan routes, and maintain safety compliance. The company offers a contributory pension, monthly bonuses, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Training and career growth are supported.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C1 (7.5T) Licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a working environment.
• Strong knowledge of drivers' hours rules and transport regulations.
• Ability to plan efficient delivery routes and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5T vehicle.
• Deliver products to customers across multiple sites.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on time.
• Load, secure, and unload goods showing proper safety procedures.
• Comply with driver, vehicle and transport legislation.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to maximise delivery performance.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
