Job summary

Vp plc, through its MEP Hire division, is seeking a Driver/Branch Assistant to join our field and branch team. You will be out and about delivering and collecting equipment in a 7.5t vehicle and demonstrate how to use it when required. After rounds you return to the branch to complete paperwork and help the team.

The role suits people who enjoy meeting customers, have a valid 7.5t licence, and are keen to learn about our equipment and safety procedures. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Multi-drop driving experience.
• Experience driving a 7.5T vehicle and a good knowledge of the area.
• You'll enjoy meeting people and delivering great customer service.
• 7.5t UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections as allocated to you by your line manager.
• Perform demonstrations and ensure sound presentation of all equipment.
• Carry out vehicle checks every morning (oil and water levels, lights, tyres).
• Identify new business opportunities and promote our services.
• Ensure all customer and business documents are completed in full.
• Champion health and safety and maintain our impeccable track record.
