Qualifications

• Complete Street Cleansing duties, such as litter picking.
• Driving a 6.5 tonne tipper.
• Operating alone, responsible for emptying 160 litter bins per night.
• Maintaining general hygiene.

Night Shift : 21 : 30pm - 05 : 24am | Full-Time - Temp to Perm

The Opportunity :

VTA Recruitment is working with a trusted business that specialises and provides a huge range of services to the public and private sectors across Greater Manchester. We’re looking for 7.5T drivers to join the Night Street Care team in a driving-based role — a perfect fit for newly qualified drivers seeking experience or anyone looking to move into a stable position. You will be working with a second driver, maintaining the cleanliness of public areas within the wider community across the Borough of Stockport.

Key Responsibilities :

• Complete Street Cleansing duties - such as removal fly tipped removal, manual sweeping and litter picking.
• Driving a 6.5 tonne tipper
• Operating alone, responsible for emptying 160 litter bins per night
• Emptying communal bins
• Tending to areas prone to fly tipping, collecting the waste and returning this to site for disposal.
• General hygiene maintenance.
• Maintaining a professional attitude representing the company whilst working away from site.

What We’re Looking For :

• Driving Licence : Minimum C1 licence with Tachograph card required to operate the vehicle (or be willing to apply for one)
• Knowledge : Familiarity with the Stockport area is adventurous
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Available to start immediately
