7.5 T Driver – Job Location: Warwick

Location: Warwick (commutable from Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford‑upon‑Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, South East Birmingham, Solihull and surrounding areas). New qualified drivers are welcome.

Rates of Pay

Monday to Friday – £17.37 inclusive of holiday pay.

Shifts and Hours

Monday to Friday, 5:00 am start time, 10 h guaranteed per shift.

Overview

GI Group are recruiting a 7.5 t Driver for a temporary 12‑week period with a well‑established client based in Warwick. The role will run until Christmas, with hand‑ball duties including pushing trolleys and up to 12 multi‑drop runs per shift. Training will be provided on the job.

The Role

The ideal candidate will be an immediate starter, confident with vehicle checks and defect paperwork, and flexible under pressure.

Qualifications & Eligibility
  • Hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Hold a valid CPC and Tachograph.
  • Previous HGV work experience preferred but not essential.
  • Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer‑service and communication skills, and attention to detail.
