Job summary

A family-run logistics company in Pontefract is searching for 7.5t Drivers to support growing demands. Candidates will handle multi drop deliveries and collections, working Monday to Friday, and must possess a valid driving license with C1 entitlement. Strong geographical knowledge of Yorkshire is preferred, along with a positive attitude. The role includes uniform and PPE provision along with training and other benefits.

Aspray24 is a well-established privately run business, with a strong national network throughout the UK, specialising in next day delivery, logistics and International Transport, established for over 30 years.

We have an extensive fleet of liveried, curtain sided, DAF vehicles, carrying hardware, ironmongery, nuts, bolts, screws, washers and other similar types of freight.

We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for 7.5t Driversto assist us with our new demands at our Yorkshire Depot.

Responsibilities

• Starting early mornings and working Monday to Friday, the driver will carry out both Multi Drop deliveries to valuable customers, as well as carry out collections later in the day.
• Most of what we deliver is business 2 business, two thirds of the customers (on a set run) are the same every day (Monday to Friday)
• We require drivers who have a positive can do attitude that are willing to go the extra mile when needed and are able to work in a professional/responsible manner.
• Uniform, PPE and training will be provided, as will other company benefits.

Qualifications

• Ideally, applicants will have good geographical knowledge of Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. The applicant must have a valid, current driving licence with C1 entitlement, and have no more than 6 minor points on their driver’s license, hold a digital tachograph card and have their DCPC qualification.
