Job Title - Ad-hoc 7.5t Driver

Location - Walcote, Lutterworth

Shifts - Monday to Friday

Logistics Support Network are looking to recruit an ad‑hoc 7.5t Driver to work with our Client on a long term ongoing basis based out of Walcote, Lutterworth. Our Client is a family owned business operating from rural Leicestershire who are committed to continuing to provide exceptional service and high quality feeds delivered in unique, environmentally‑friendly Bulk Bin Feeding Systems.

Job Duties

• 06:00/07:00 starts – mainly Tuesdays.
• 8 to 10 drops (12 very maximum)
• Manual Handling can be involved – up to 20 kg feed bags.
• Driving to Oxford to be loaded via forklift and then delivering to customers from there.
• Work out and advise the order of delivery to the forklift driver who will be loading 180 kg feed bins onto your tail lift, for you to then organise in your truck.
• Manoeuvring the feed bins off of the truck and wheeling to customers' preferred space.
• Must be okay with animals as dogs / horses etc can be on the farmyards.

PAYE Rates

Monday to Friday

• £13.80 – holiday accrual
• £15.46 – holiday included

LTD Rates

Monday to Friday

• £16.00

What we are looking for

• A valid full category 7.5t licence – 2 years experience minimum
• No more than 6 points on driving licence.
• NO DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions.
• Minimum age 21 years due to insurance criteria.
• Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and be able to work by themselves or with a team.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
• Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.
• Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
