Job summary

Currys is hiring a 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver in the United Kingdom. You’ll deliver and install large appliances and tech, working in a two‑person team for safe handling and precise placement in customers’ homes.

Expect around 25 deliveries per day with 8–10 installations, a 5 over 7 shift pattern, and full training to support you on day one. A valid Class C1 licence, CPC card, and customer‑facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Full Class C1 UK licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CPC card is required and Tachograph card preferred.
• Comfortable working in a practical, physical role.
• Experience delivering/installing household appliances is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time.
• Install appliances and tech safely and professionally.

If you’re looking for a driving role that’s more than just drop and dash, you’re in the right place.

As a 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver, you’ll be out on the road delivering and installing large household appliances and tech; things like washing machines, fridge‑freezers and TVs. You’ll be the friendly face our customers see, helping them get set up and often making their day in the process.

Role overview:

What you’ll do:

• Deliver the right products to the right customers, on time
• Install a range of household appliances and tech safely and professionally
• Work as part of a 2‑person team to move and position large items
• Use equipment such as tail lifts, sack barrows and lifting aids to work safely
• Drive a multi‑drop route and keep everything running smoothly
• Create a positive, friendly experience every time you step into a customer’s home

This is a busy, hands‑on role. You’ll typically complete around 25 deliveries a day, with 8–10 of those involving installations in customers’ homes. No two days are the same, and you’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve made a real difference.

Yes, you’ll need to enjoy driving and being on the road, but you’ll need to love helping customers too. Our training will cover everything you need; from installation skills to customer care so you’ll feel confident and supported from day one.

You will need:
