Job summary

Currys Group in Carmarthen is seeking a 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver for a fixed-term contract. You will deliver and install large household appliances and tech, working in a 2-person team and using tail lifts and lifting aids to ensure safe, efficient setup at customers' homes.

You’ll manage multi-drop routes with a focus on a friendly customer experience, typically completing around 25 deliveries daily with 8–10 installations.

Qualifications

• A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CPC card (and ideally) Tachograph card.
• To be comfortable working in a practical, physical role.

As a 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver, you'll be out on the road delivering and installing large household appliances and tech; things like washing machines, fridge‑freezers and TVs. You'll be the friendly face our customers see, helping them get set up and often making their day in the process.

This is a busy, hands-on role. You'll typically complete around 25 deliveries a day, with 8-10 of those involving installations in customers' homes. No two days are the same, and you'll finish each shift knowing you've made a real difference.

Yes, you'll need to enjoy driving and being on the road, but you'll need to love helping customers too. Our training will cover everything you need; from installation skills to customer care so you'll feel confident and supported from day one.
