Job summary

DX Network Services Limited seeks a 7.5t Driver to deliver products across the UK. Starting salary is £33,715, rising to £34,715 after 6 months and £35,715 after 12 months, with potential enhancements.

You will handle multi-drop deliveries, maintain safety, complete checks, and use DX scanning equipment to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• C1 license or higher with valid DQC and Tacho card.

Responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.
• Drive vehicles safely and legally, complying with all requirements.
• Complete daily checks and report defects; ensure correct paperwork.
• Ensure all products are scanned with DX scanning equipment.
• Load deliveries safely prior to leaving the depot.
• Follow DX procedures and policies at all times.
• Manage routing for premium and timed deliveries.
• Check PPE is in good order and used.
• Report on-road issues to the traffic office promptly.
• Deliver to customers in excellent condition.
• Handle customer issues politely and coordinate collections as instructed.

An exciting new 7.5t Driver opportunity at DX!

Starting on £33,715 you will increase £1,000 each time after completing 6 and 12 months of service to £35,715 per annum

Role summary

To deliver customers' products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers' premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

Key responsibilities

• Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
• Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times
• All daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork completed
• Ensure all product are scanned using DX scanning equipment
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot
• Observe DX procedures and policies at all times
• Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved
• Ensure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment) is in good order and used at all times
• Ensure all delivery and on road issues are reported to the traffic office immediately
• Ensure the customer receives their deliveries in excellent condition every time
• Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective mannerEnsure collections are made in line with given instructions and times

Essential Criteria

• Must hold C1 or above on license with valid DQC and Tacho card
• Maximum of 6 points on license and no bans
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to build a rapport with customers
