Job summary

The Best Connection Employment Group is seeking an experienced 7.5T/Class C1 Driver to join a busy logistics operation in Crawley. The role offers a weekday-only schedule from 09:00 to 18:00 and pays £16.05 per hour.

As a 7.5T/Class C1 Driver, you will perform approximately 20–30 collections and deliveries daily across Crawley and nearby areas, ensuring safe loading, accurate paperwork, and high levels of customer service at each location.

Qualifications

• Valid C1 (7.5T) driving licence and CPC; Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Strong knowledge of driver regulations and road safety.
• Capable of manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the day.
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out collections and deliveries across Crawley and surrounding areas.
• Complete approximately 20–30 deliveries per day with safe loading and securing of goods.
• Provide excellent customer service at collection and delivery points.
• Complete all paperwork and vehicle checks; maintain compliance with transport regulations.

The Role

As a 7.5T/Class C1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out collections and deliveries across Crawley and the surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing approximately 20-30 collections and deliveries per day.
• Ensuring goods are loaded, secured and transported safely.
• Providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery points.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Maintaining compliance with all transport and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid C1 (7.5T) Driving Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver regulations and road safety.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting, as this role involves physical work throughout the day.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.
• Previous experience working within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain is desirable.
