Job summary

Surecall Recruitment is hiring 7.5 Tonne / Class 2 Drivers in Chelmsford for trunking between depots. The role offers flexible shifts and competitive hourly pay with holiday pay.

You will operate 7.5 Tonne vehicles on trunk routes, comply with tachograph regulations, and maintain accurate delivery records. A valid 7.5T/C1 or Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and clean driving history are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T (C1) or Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid UK Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year's relevant driving experience.
• Fewer than 10 tachograph infringements in the last 12 months.
• Maximum 6 penalty points, with no major endorsements or convictions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking between depots.
• Operate 7.5 Tonne / Class 2 vehicles on routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery and tachograph records.
• Adhere to driving regs and safety requirements.
