The role requires a valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, plus prior commercial driving experience and strong customer service skills. Heavy lifting and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous commercial driving experience.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to carry out a physically demanding role with heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle on planned delivery routes.
• Complete deliveries to customers' homes, carrying goods into the required room.
• Work with your driver's mate to load, unload and handle goods safely.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery.
• Keep customers informed and report any delivery issues to the transport team.
• Follow road safety, manual handling and company procedures.
