Job summary

Driver Hire Basingstoke & Newbury is seeking 7.5 Tonne Drivers to support local clients across Basingstoke, Newbury, Thatcham, Hook and Hungerford. Flexible days, typically Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. Weeky payroll, routes may vary by client.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License with at least 1 year of experience.
• Current Drivers Card and Drivers Qualification Card.
• Must be over 21 with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Previous commercial driving experience is advantageous but not essential.
• DBS check is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out designated duties in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks
• Be reliable, polite, and friendly.
• Provide high level customer service as the face of Driver Hire.
• Plan routes and use a Sat Nav system.
