Overview

Apply today for an immediate start to work as a 7.5 Tonne Driver for our client – a UK leading company that delivers white goods to customer homes as part of a home delivery service. Staffline is recruiting a 7.5 Tonne Driver in Wigan. The rate of pay is £14.77 per hour. This is a full-time role working 4 days over 6, with hours of work from 5:00am – 5:00pm.

Your Time at Work

• As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for driving a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle.
• You will be part of a two-person crew delivering white goods to customers’ houses with manual handling duties involved, carrying out approximately 15 drops (this number may be reduced if distance is greater).
• Some travel to Scotland is required with overnight stays for the week – £40.00 per night allowance.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker must be comfortable with manual handling of white goods. You must be able to safely drive a 7.5 ton vehicle and to manual handle white goods products, whilst working as part of a two-person crew. Flexible with working and comfortable with traveling long distances, which may include overnight stays for four nights of the week.
