Job summary

The Coffee House is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver to deliver freshly prepared products to our stores. The role starts at 16:00 and runs through midnight, 32 hours across four days, in the North West and North Staffordshire region.

Permanent, part-time position with benefits including pension, store discounts, and staff parking. You will join a growing team at our Warrington facility and play a key part in daily store deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C/C1 driving license.
• Flexible to work weekends and evenings (until midnight).
• Reliable and detail oriented.
• Able to work well within a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks before driving and follow safety standards.
• Secure loads safely at the warehouse.
• Follow checklists to complete company processes.
• Travel between store locations on predefined routes and deliver goods.
• Ensure premises are secured on delivery.
• Return vehicle to warehouse, unload returns and close checks.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Assist with other logistics/inventory tasks as needed.

Beginning in Lymm village, we’ve grown steadily while maintaining our commitment to quality, innovation, and community values. Our new central facility in Warrington, which includes our Cookhouse, BakeHouse, Roastery, and Warehouse, is now looking for dedicated delivery drivers to join our team.

Role Overview

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you'll play a crucial role in delivering our homemade produce and ambient goods to our stores. Beginning your journey at 16:00, you'll ensure our guests receive our fresh products to enjoy in store each morning.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle checks before driving, adhering to Health and Safety standards.
• Secure loads safely and compliantly at the warehouse.
• Follow checklists to ensure all company processes are completed accurately.
• Travel between store locations on predefined routes, delivering goods with precision.
• Ensure store premises are secured correctly upon delivery.
• Return the vehicle to the warehouse, unpack returned items, and complete closing checklists, maintaining a clean workspace.
• Communicate effectively with our team and customers.
• Assist with other logistics and inventory tasks as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

• Depending on driving schedules, you may be required to assist with various stock processes within the warehouse.

Requirements

• A valid Category C or C1 Driving License (including drivers who passed their car test before 1 January 1997).
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings (until midnight) as part of a balanced schedule.
• Reliability and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Physical capability to handle manual tasks.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
