Job summary

Driver Hire Belfast is seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver for temporary sick cover, initially for approximately 3-4 weeks, with the possibility of extension. Start: Monday 12th October for handover if possible, otherwise Tuesday 13th October, 8:00am, Monday to Friday with no weekends.

Deliveries throughout Northern Ireland, with occasional deliveries to the Republic of Ireland. Duties include driving a 7.5 tonne box-sided lorry, delivering kitchen cabinets and accessories, loading and tail

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• Ability to load/unload and handle deliveries safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 tonne box-sided lorry.
• Deliver rigid-built kitchen cabinets and accessories.
• Assist with loading the vehicle at the warehouse.
• Use the tail lift and assist with offloading at delivery sites.
• Occasionally help carry cabinets into customers' properties.
• Drive a Luton van on lower-volume delivery days if required.
• Hours vary with the delivery schedule; some days longer, some shorter.

We are looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver for temporary sick cover, initially for approximately 3-4 weeks, with the possibility of being extended.

Start: Monday 12th October for handover if possible, otherwise Tuesday 13th October
Start time: 8:00am
Monday to Friday - No weekends
Deliveries throughout Northern Ireland, with occasional deliveries to the Republic of Ireland

Duties will include:

• Driving a 7.5 tonne box-sided lorry
• Delivering rigid-built kitchen cabinets and accessories
• Assisting with manually loading the vehicle at the warehouse
• Using the tail lift and assisting with offloading at delivery sites
• Occasionally helping carry cabinets into customers' properties
• Driving a Luton van on lower-volume delivery days if required

Hours will vary depending on the delivery schedule. Some days may be full working days, while others may finish earlier.

Immediate availability is essential.
