DPD UK is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join its delivery team. You will manage a local route, ensure on-time deliveries, and use Saturn handheld devices for tracking and routing.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer-focused service, with a 07:00–08:30 start window and weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and CPC/DQC accreditation.
• Experience: ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy parcels.
• Professional, approachable and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with 40–50 stops daily.
• Use Saturn handheld to manage deliveries and routes.
• Load/unload parcels with proper equipment.
• Provide safe, timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

The Role

We’re looking for someone to take the wheel and own a designated local route. You aren’t just moving boxes; you’re the final boss of the delivery game, ensuring every parcel hits its destination with 10/10 service. With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers. Your role is vital in providing a service that genuinely makes a difference to our customers.

The Role Breakdown

• Drive the Vibe: Get behind the wheel of a 7.5 Tonne vehicle. You’ll be cruising local routes, keeping it safe, professional, and efficient.
• Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick "hello" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.
