DPD UK in Swindon is hiring a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our growing delivery team. You’ll manage a local route with 40–50 stops daily, ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries and friendly customer service throughout your round.

You'll work Mon-Fri, start around 07:00–08:30, use Saturn handheld devices, and handle loading/unloading with safe lifting. A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and CPC/DQC accreditation are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and CPC/DQC accreditation are required.
• Ideal candidate has up to 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and safety-conscious in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Role

We’re looking for someone to take the wheel and own a designated local route. You aren’t just moving boxes; you’re the final boss of the delivery game, ensuring every parcel hits its destination with 10/10 service. With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers.Your role is vital in providing a service that genuinely makes a difference to our customers.

The Role Breakdown

• Drive the Vibe: Get behind the wheel of a 7.5 Tonne vehicle. You’ll be cruising local routes, keeping it safe, professional, and efficient.
• Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick \"hello\" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.
