DPD UK Raunds is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to cover local routes with around 40–50 stops daily. You will be the friendly face delivering parcels, using Saturn handheld devices for navigation and tracking, and ensuring safe, on-time drops.

Ideal candidates have a valid C1 licence and DQC/CPC accreditation, with transferable driving experience and a customer-focused approach. Salary reflects a stable full-time role with overtime options and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence.
• DQC/CPC accreditation.
• 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles (ideally).
• Physically capable of lifting and handling parcels and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with 40–50 stops per day.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and manage routes.
• Load and unload parcels, assist customers during drop-offs.

The Role

We’re looking for someone to take the wheel and own a designated local route. With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers.Your role is vital in providing a service that genuinely makes a difference to our customers.

• Drive the Vibe: Get behind the wheel of a 7.5 Tonne vehicle. You’ll be cruising local routes, keeping it safe, professional, and efficient.
• Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick "hello" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you’re on the move.
