Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join its delivery team across local routes. You will be responsible for ensuring parcels reach customers with high quality service on a Monday–Friday schedule.

With 40–50 stops per day, you will use Saturn handheld devices, load and unload parcels with hand trucks, and present a friendly, professional image to customers while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• C1 licence and DQC/CPC accreditation required.
• 6 months driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles preferred.
• Professional and approachable in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and able to lift heavy parcels.

Responsibilities

• Drive 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with 40-50 stops per day.
• Utilise Saturn handheld devices for deliveries and tracking.

The Role

• Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You'll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It's basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You're the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it's a quick "hello" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You'll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.
