Job description

If so, our current Shift Coordinator – Logistics (5 Shift Pattern) vacancy at our Ashton site could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role

As a Shift Coordinator, you’ll lead a small team working on a 5‑shift pattern, primarily managing inbound loads from Europe destined for Ireland and other European locations. You’ll also support picking and dispatch activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in line with our high standards.

You’ll act as a key user of our Locator Expert WMS system, assist with loading operations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include low‑level RCI for warehousing issues, PI counting, and other warehouse activities as required.

Shift Pattern

2 days (06:50–19:00), 2 nights (18:50–07:00), followed by 6 days off. Flexibility is essential to cover absence, holidays, or workload changes.

What You Will Do
  • Adhere to all Essity Health & Safety regulations, operating procedures, and systems
  • Receive deliveries (inbound) and unload finished goods from incoming wagons
  • Complete daily checklists and safety checks on FLT equipment before each shift
  • Report any damages or discrepancies at the point of receipt
  • Place stock into IDC locations as directed by WMS systems
  • Ensure timely and accurate loading processes with correct documentation
  • Carry out rework to meet customer expectations
  • Meet KPI targets for Health & Safety, Goods‑In, and unloading
  • Follow SWIs to maintain a safe working environment
