Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting a Finance Business Partner to provide financial support to DWP’s Service Delivery, Change Finance and Shared Services, across a £2.8bn portfolio. Based in Leeds with a hybrid pattern (2 days remote).

You will partner with budget holders to deliver governance, robust financial information and value-for-money analysis that informs contracting decisions on diverse contracts such as contact centres, banking, travel and logistics.

• Experienced, qualified finance professional to join finance team.
• Experience supporting large finance portfolios in the public sector.

• Provide financial support to DWP’s Service Delivery, Change Finance and Shared Services, and to related Commercial functions across a £2.8bn portfolio.
• Partner with budget holders to deliver governance, robust financial information and value-for-money analysis for contracting decisions across diverse contracts (e.g., contact centres, banking, travel, logistics).

We are looking for an experienced, qualified finance professional to join our small team providing financial support to DWP’s Service Delivery, Change Finance and Shared Services, and Automated Buying, Business Services and External Resources Commercial functions covering a portfolio of c £2.8bn. The portfolio includes a wide variety of contracts in a number of areas including contact centres, banking, travel, logistics, and document management. It is a fast-moving and interesting role, and you will be in the heart of decision making for some of DWP’s most critical contracts.
