Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking caring, compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Days Support Workers at The Old Vicarage. This full-time role (40 hours/week, days only, alternate weekends) offers training, development and ongoing support to build a rewarding career in care.

We provide thorough DBS checks and friendly supervision while you gain valuable experience in a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Qualifications

• No previous health or social care experience required.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to support others.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
