Overview

Fantastic new role! A 4 day week Nanny is required in Brightwalton, Newbury Berkshire. This professional family are looking for a sole charge Nanny to work 4 days a week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for their 3 children, ages 2, 5 and 7. The role is to start on the 5th of January. A Nanny who genuinely loves working with young children, is nurturing, kind and proactive is desired. The hours are 1pm - 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays; on Tuesdays 8.45am-5pm; and on Thursdays 8.45am-3pm. Salary is £15-£18 gross per hour (gross annual salary of £17,550 to £21,060). If the Nanny can offer more hours in the holidays, this would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Nursery duties as part of the role, plus family laundry and light housekeeping on the afternoons when the children are at school and nursery.
• Engaging the children with outdoor activities, local classes and activities, reading stories, and providing a fun, creative and caring environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Experience Level: 2+ years working with children of the same ages (2, 5 and 7).
• Childcare qualifications essential for this role.
• Driver: Yes, and a car can be provided on duty.
• DBS on the update service and a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be current or last employer and immediately contactable.
