Proactive Global is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our Uxbridge facility. You will read engineering drawings, assemble components, and test completed units to ensure quality and accuracy throughout the build process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, or a similar hands-on manufacturing role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly manuals.
• Skilled with hand tools and workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products to drawings and specifications.
• Carry out fault-finding, stripping, rebuilding, and testing of equipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct in-process checks and final inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Work to production targets while maintaining accuracy and safety.
• Support continuous improvement activities and contribute to a positive team culture.
